Important Announcement: PAC Meeting and Chili Cookoff

Just a reminder of the student meeting on Friday 10/12/07 with our Professional Advisory Committee. They will meet with the graduate students @ 1:00 pm and the undergrads @ 2:00 but many times they combine both groups so it might be wise to plan on attending the lunch at noon and be prepared to meet at 1:00 pm. Please rsvp if you'd like to attend the lunch in 228 with the PAC before the student meeting as I need a count for the caterer.

Also, hope to see you at the Chili Cook Off. Please rsvp to me if you will be there and the # of guests you will be bringing. If you intend to bring chili (no beans is categorized as "Real" chili and chili with beans is "Pseudo" Chili) please let me know! Also, remember this is a potluck so if don't bring chili, please bring a main dish or salad.

Last but not least, if you'd like to volunteer to help, please email Josh Hall, ASP President - joshuachall78@gmail.com - and he will put you on his list. We need set up volunteers and clean up volunteers.

Thanks and hope to see you at both events on Friday, Oct 12th.

ASP Nominations

The Association of Student Planners has added two new officers positions for the 2007-2008 school year. The graduate and undergraduate student representative positions are being added to ensure consistent representation of all URP students.

These reps will be voting ASP members and are expected to participate in all matters of ASP (meetings, event planning, frundraising, etc). If you are interested or would like to nominate a fellow student, please do so by Friday, October 5th by sending an email to Rose. Voting will take place next week.

If you have any questions about either position contact ASP president Josh Hall (joshuachall78@gmail.com).
